Scanbod AI Smart Health Scanner - Help
About the Program
The Scanbod AI Smart Health Scanner is a program designed to monitor and analyze key health metrics, such as
heart rate, SpO2 (oxygen saturation), blood pressure, and blood glucose levels. This program uses your webcam to capture
video of your face and calculate health metrics based on light intensity changes detected in your skin.
Using the Program
To get started with the Scanbod AI Smart Health Scanner, follow these steps:
- Launch the program, which opens with a video feed and controls on the right side.
- Align your face within the green ellipse in the video feed. Ensure your face fills the ellipse and stays still for the most accurate results.
- Click the Scan button to start a new scan. A 5-second countdown will display before the scan begins.
- The scan lasts 30 seconds, during which the program calculates heart rate, SpO2, blood pressure, and blood glucose levels.
- Results appear in the panel on the right once the scan completes.
Note: This program is for experimental use only and is not intended for medical purposes (it is a tool). Avoid moving your head, have good lighting (non-flickering) and remove your GLASSES during the scan to improve accuracy. If your Antivirus prompts you when you are trying to run the App, just click More info-> Run anyway as this application is confirmed virus free. The overvealous antivirus program typically treats any .exe file as a virus eventhough its not. Do not be alarmed. The expected values for normal fasting blood glucose concentration are between 70 mg/dL (3.9 mmol/L) and 100 mg/dL (5.6 mmol/L). When fasting blood glucose (8-10 hours) is between 100 to 125 mg/dL (5.6 to 6.9 mmol/L) changes in lifestyle and monitoring glycemia are recommended. Above 6.9 mmol/L could indicate Type II pre-diabetes/diabetes condition. Please refer to your nearest doctor if you concerned. For more info, go to www.who.int for more details.
